Matt chose a career in family law because it allows him to help people who are going through challenging circumstances. He finds great reward in guiding clients through their darkest times. With a focus on providing compassionate support and aggressive advocacy, Matt delivers the representation that is necessary to protect his clients’ rights and best interests. He is determined to help people achieve their goals in complicated family legal situations, like divorce and child custody disputes, so that they can reach a better tomorrow.
For Matt, practicing family law is most rewarding because of the opportunity to be a reliable source of clarity and stability for clients going through some of the most difficult points in their lives.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Matt moved to the Pacific Northwest for law school, and he continues to call Portland home to this day. When Matt is not assisting clients, he is often on a soccer or futsal field. He’s always had a love for the game and was even a Division I soccer player. Off the field, Matt enjoys being on the area’s gorgeous hiking trails. While sports and the great outdoors are a key component of his life, Matt takes the greatest pleasure in getting to know Portland’s friendly people.
Concerning his future at Pacific Cascade Family Law, Matt has stated, “I look to the future with energy and enthusiasm to see where our forward progress takes us.”
